The San Logistic terminal of the RGC Group in Izmail plans to repair the grain dryer damaged by a drone attack and fully resume grain processing services before the start of the new season. This was reported by Elevatorist.com.
As explained by the terminal’s director, Andriy Osauchenko, even though Bessarabia is an arid region, local farmers still use grain cleaning and drying services, particularly for rapeseed and sunflower seeds.

“Shahid knocked out eight silos and partially damaged seven more. We have restored three of them and are currently working on restoring four more. They were not so badly damaged inside, with only one or two slabs knocked out and some cracks, which we can handle ourselves as we have an installation cradle. The rest cannot be restored without a crane, as they are end silos,” said Osauchenko.

Over the past year, RGC has almost tripled the capacity of the Izmail elevator and can now receive up to 40 railcars of grain per day.
